The Casino was represented this year’s Charity ride by 12 ciders, they stood out from the other 530 cyclist by wearing bright yellow Lycra. They were reported in saying the event was challenging but achievable, and also heaps of fun. The Casino van was given pride of place in the parking area with refreshments available for all the casino riders. |

A night at the Court Theatre's "La Cage aux Folles" saw guests enjoy an exciting show, with funds raised from the evening going towards the hospital's operational expenses.

Over $30,000 of proceeds from Weft Knitting Company's annual Charity Sale was kindly donated to the Charity Hosptial. Funds from the sale will go directly towards operational expenses.

The Christchurch Casino generously sponsored a dinner for 200 guests in its Grand Café, providing the venue, food and beverages free of charge. A total of over $50,000 was raised from this event, with the funds going towards
La pa roscopic surgical procedures.
